Emma Haugh is artist in residence at the Joinery throughout periods in April and May. Emma will use the space for workshops, conversations, material construction and documentation as part of ongoing development of ‘the re-appropriation of sensuality after which we enter into light’ project.

Materials developed during this time-frame (audio recordings, texts, photographs, temporary models and soft structures) will be used in working with SCRIPTINGS, Berlin over the summer, opening up a discourse and exchange between activities in the two cities and between both spaces.

The production of printed matter in SCRIPTINGS will be archived on the Joinery’s website and the physical publication will be presented back in Dublin as part of a public discussion hosted by The Joinery.

Watch this space for further details of events in May.
