Fergus Byrne – SINGER

Opening night performance April 22nd – Fergus Byrne & Jeni Roddy – 7pm.
Closing performance May 1st – Fergus Byrne – 3pm.

The work draws together several strands of work from the past year – drawing, installation and writing – all of which share an involvement of the body in the production and processes of the work.

Performances continue Byrne’s interest in spoken text delivered with physical performance, drawing breath from Homer’s ‘Odyssey’ and Becket’s ‘How It Is’ amongst other writings. Repetitious actions will form kinetic sculptures.
