Girls Names

Girls Names played their first Dublin show in the Joinery as a 2 piece, featuring Cathal Cully and Neil Brogan (now of Sea Pinks), on a cold October Sunday in 2009, along side San Francisos SIC ALPS with Irelands So Cow and No Monster Club (1st show ever, i think).

Since then, they have toured multiple times around Europe and the USofA, released critically acclaimed records on the irreproachable Slumberland, Captured Tracks and Tough Love labels, been remixed by the impeccable Factory Floor, David Holmes and Optimo, and expanded their sound though unprecedented trajectories.

When asked by the Joinery, which has continued to be our favourite venue over the years with its unparalleled atmosphere and unprecedented zeal, to curate a last Skinny Wolves show in the space, we endeavoured to fashion a worthy climax to our ‘fond adieu’ to the space….

So, it made prefect sense to invite GIRLS NAMES to play a special one off intimate set on the night, and of course, with shared love for the space, they have agreed!

So, please buy your tickets now and make it a night never to forget!!!

Princess

Princess is a band from Dublin that plays an especially earthy brand of dream-pop, seemingly culled from both the soil and the stars. “Molly,” their new single, does not sound like a song about the ever-popular party drug. Rather than ecstatic, it’s an ethereal slow drift that uses almost eight minutes to get its point across — think Beach House with Mazzy Star’s casual sense of pace – Stereogum

Low Tide

Power-trio Low Tide made their debut supporting guitarist Bill Orcutt in November 2013. Spellbinding instrumental times with powerful momentum, Low Tide evoke memories you never knew you had.

Brendan Jenkinson- Guitar
Anna Clifford- Cello
David Lacey- Drumset
