A LAZARUS SOUL is the moniker under which Brian Brannigan has sheltered for over a decade & the outlet for his socio-political musings. Last year saw them release their third album “Through a Window in the Sunshine Room” gaining them a 5/5 review in Hot Press & 8/10 in State.

Its latest incarnation, which includes Joe Chester (Sound of Bells/ Sun bear), Anton Hegarty (Future Kings of Spain) & Julie Bienvenu (Lines Drawing Circles/ Time the Revelator) debuted with an incendiary performance at Dublin’s inaugural tribute to The Fall night 2011, in the Joinery.

“The intensity of a long dark night of the soul in conversation with Samuel Beckett, Cathal Coughlan and Eamonn Dunphy” State Magazine

EUROPEAN SENSORIA BAND (e+S=B for short) formed when long-time Wormhole fan Fergus Cullen asked twin brothers Anthony and David Carroll to play with him at legendary Dublin improv club Lazybird. Ditching the guitars in favour of casio keyboards and adding electro-drumpad expert Adrienne Flynn of Memory Cells, Electronic Sensoria Band was born. With releases on their own Last Of Our Kind label as well as Deserted Village and Ninepoint records, they have played and recorded with the likes of Damo Suzuki and Itaru Oki among others. Since then, taking more and more inspiration from the American Free jazz scene of the 60s, e+S=B have scaled down to a three piece line-up consisting of Fergus on bass clarinet and guitar, David on drums and Anthony bass.

PRANG RUIN/WALTER DEMONIK is a musician from Dublin. He’s a former drummer in post/Kraut rock bands some years ago but has lately started to focus on solo, lo-fi electronics. The influences are diverse, ranging from bands like Spacemen 3/Labradford to noise artists like Aaron Dilloway and acousmatic composers like Jean-Claude Eloy. This mix is evident in his live sets, which are made up of loops, drones & found sounds.Walter Demonik also runs the Prang Ruin CDR/net label, to promote his music and he hopes to release other artists in the future.
