Opening Thurs 6-8pm. Open daily 12-6pm

by Helena Lehtinen Princess Dress is an exhibition of new photographs by Helena Lehtinen. Her work looks at the beliefs, customs and values acquired from early childhood onwards. The work investigates gender – in particular, values that are specific to women in their development from childhood to adulthood. The work also questions whether or not these values change over time or if they are imbedded into our lives forever. Lehtinen is a Finnish artist and graduate of IADT. She was the recipient of the IPPA (Irish Professional Photographer’s Association) student award in 2009 and was also selected by The Joinery as part of their 2010 recent graduate programme.
