***************

During his 14 year tenure with Today FM Donal has used his discerning ear to seek out, listen to and encourage experimental music in all genres, but with a particular focus on championing irish music, most notably through his Fresh Air and Month of Sundays series which incorporated live gigs and on-air sessions and interviews. Along the way helping to establish then unknown International artists such as David Gray and Irish artists including Lisa Hannigan, Lisa O’Neill, Patrick Kelleher, Katie Kim, Si Schroeder and many many more.

Although the Small Hours is drawing to a close the music making goes on. Hope you can all come along to celebrate the end of one journey, and the beginning of another.
