The Joinery faces onto the street on Arbour Hill and comprised of a traditional shop front and an adjoining roller shutter door which leads directly into a garage-type space. In 2014 we were delighted to acquire our new green neon ‘J’ for the window, a design collaboration by Joinery residents Eoin Mahon, Cian McKenna and Clare Bell. In April 2014 artist Ella de Burca was selected from an open call to design an artwork for the roller shutter. The Joinery commissioned Ella to make her site-specific piece ‘UP’ over the course of a week.
